Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

To keep pricing low, we do not have a brick and mortar location. We deliver your bikes via our mobile unit to a convenient trailhead or to your vacation rental.

Can I rent overnight?

Yes, you can keep the bike for up to one week. Keep in mind the battery needs to be charged and you are responsible for any loss. Please contact us for details.

What happens if it rains?

The gulf coast can experience an occasional short shower so find shelter along the trail. Our bikes have fenders, so you won’t get soaked from tire spray. If you made a reservation at least 72 hours in advance and the forecast calls for a full day of rain, we offer a full refund, or you can reschedule your reservation.

What happens if the battery dies, or I get a flat?

Our powerful fully charged batteries can go 30-35 miles without pedaling and 50 miles with casual pedal assistance, plus the bike comes with a battery gauge to monitor your usage. With our all-terrain fat tires, flats are very uncommon, however, if you have either problem stop and immediately call us! We will meet you to correct the issue and get you back to exploring, plus credit you with additional time!

Am I responsible if the bike is damaged or stolen?

Yes, you are. Our bikes are newer and well maintained for reliability and safety. When you receive your bike, we conduct a quick visual for exterior damage and expect it returned as you received it. In the case of damage or theft, you will be responsible for the loss. We do not offer insurance.

Do I need to wear a helmet?

We provide an attractive helmet for your safety and encourage you to use it.

Will you show me how the bike works?

Absolutely! When you receive your bike, we will go over all safety concerns and details about how to operate the bike accelerator, power modes, brakes and read the digital display. After getting the handlebars and seat adjusted for your comfort, you will take it for a ride around to be sure you are satisfied.

Can children ride?

We understand some pre-teens are very good at riding a bike and would allow the parents to make that decision. However, Alabama state law requires a rider to be 14+ years old. A parent or guardian must sign a responsibility waiver for anyone under 19. All riders under the age of 19 must be accompanied by the responsible adult. Helmets are mandatory for all riders under the age of 19.

Can I ride on the beach?

Gulf Shores and Orange Beach does not allow bikes on the beach!  In addition, deep sand is difficult to maneuver in and salt water will cause the electric motor to fail.

You are welcome to ride on any hard surface to visit restaurants and shops.

Cancellations

We understand plans change and we don’t want to cause further disappointment or pressure. Because of our low pricing and high demand for newer better equipped bikes, we usually have no problem re-renting if given a 24-hour notice. In such cases, a full refund will be provided for all fees paid.

All cancellations must be sent to: [email protected]

Obviously, “No-Shows” will be charged the full rate of the reservation.

Late Returns

  • Not returning within 15 minutes of the scheduled return time will result in a charge of $10.
  • Not returning within one hour of the scheduled return time will result in a full day charge.
